![]() The more you play and progress the story the more and more gameplay experiences you unlock, there are loooots of different gameplay objectives and enemy types to discover and when it all just starts getting thrown at you randomly it gets pretty exciting. Plus the fact that although it uses the same maps there are multiple routes/areas/objectives in each so it doesn't feel repetitive, you may be in the same city but you may not see the areas you previously did. I’d say it's worth mentioning that once you have done enough missions thereby advanced the story aswell there are more missions for both PVP and PVE new maps and Dinosaurs including Neo-Dinosaurs which are ramped up versions of dinos you've fought (as well as completely new ones) with abilities and completely new looks akin to siva/Taken from destiny. But instead of puzzles, you're made to fight dinosaurs and it's kind of great. I have no idea where the plot came from but it's almost a little bit like gladdos from Portal. I really enjoyed the story and the way it was deployed, very original. It’s lots of fun, easy to pickup and get lost in. It makes you feel like you’re back in the old 360 days. Getting thrown into games with randoms that many times have no clue what they are doing, can be frustrating when you carry the entire team in points but inevitably lose due to everyone else, but when you have a tight team composition with players that know what they are doing, it f**king sings. My only nitpick with the game is that while having cross play it doesn’t have cross invite. You have a 5 person team and you chose between the warsuits to make an optimal team and finish in the fastest time while getting the highest score. There are modes that you can do pvp only or pve only, the game is really fun and unique. My wife’s boyfriend describes it as a constant source of dopamine. It's so damn fun, rounds are quick, and it's just overall really entertaining. It’s sort of like Overwatch meets Dynasty Warriors.Įxoprimal it’s a mostly casual (that's going to trigger some people) PvPvE third person shooter that is just damn fun! The game is incredibly simple with not a lot to it, yet, I can't stop playing it. Do you like Dino Crisis 2?
